SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

There are many ways to submit creative work to SunnyparkFun.  We look for great stuff in the below areas.

Publishing on Sunnypark is about promotion.  Through money received from sponsors, we help promote your work and name.  If you have a website, we can point people to it through your work on our site.  If you do not have your own site, but have a handful of acceptable works, we can assemble a page for you and point your "fans" there for more of your treasures.

By providing our site visitors with first quality works, they will come back for more.  Being accepted for publication on SunnyparkFun will mean exposure for you.  We actively promote our website through various advertising methods, pulling customers in for the benefit of all of us.

We do not require rights, only a note of authorization to distribute your work.   You can copyright your work or put it into public domain.  Your choice.  If you have personal goals for your work, a product or web site to promote, want feedback on your work via email, or wish to convey a particular message, be sure to tell us so we can promote and position your work as appropriate.  If you do have a website, we always appreciate a link from your site to ours.

Short writings for ebooks:

Length:  1,700 to 5,000 words
Genre:   How-to, Self Help, Children's, Romance, Humor, Fiction, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, New Age, etc.  "Family safe," please.
Short, short texts -- less than 1700 words -- may be made into audio books.

Any genre you like to write, we like to read. Be sure you have read it through to check for spelling, cut & paste victims, or continuity errors.  First draft quality material has little chance of being published.

Digital Creations:

If you like to take photos while you play tourist, choose 10 or 15 pictures about a place or thing, write or record a 10 to 15 second -- 35 to 45 words each -- narration about each photo.  Using Shockwave's PhotoJam, we can put them together into a cool media presentation.

Musicians:

Check out our Sunnypark Spin area.  If your music fits our style, we can post one of your singles and direct our visitors to your website and CD(s).

We are also looking for short music pieces that can be used for PhotoJam presentations (see Digital Creations).

Just send us an email with your submission and see if it is a fit and appropriate for SunnyparkFun.
